The venue has a capacity of 280 people and operate on the basis of the project “… in Residence“.
The Foundation Passerelle will choose two artists per season, setting up a promotional plan not only to fill up the venue but also to enhance their career in Mali and internationally through specific partners and festivals in Europe and around the world.
At the entrance of the Blues Faso, the PETITE TERRASSE, with a capacity of 80 people, is accessible outside performances times and offers snacks from Mali and the world, as well as hot and cold drinks.
A versatile space for outdoor shows in a garden of bougainvillea and specifically preserved plant species from the Sahel-Saharan region. Its capacity is up to 1300 people for various cultural and artistic events.
The venue is modular, and will operate on the basis of programming various artists, training courses, cultural and artistic events and gala evenings. In order to encourage a real involvement of the neighbourhood, this space will be made available to the population through associations with which the Foundation has had a dialogue for several years.
Tribute to Zani Diabaté
With its floating floor designed for dance and an area of 162 m2, the studio host residencies projects in 2019:
– the creation of a new project by choreographer Serge Aimé Coulibaly;
– the project that supports female choreographers;
– the residency of Belgian-Moroccan choreographer Ben Fury.
